In a 2005 study, it was shown that electric toothbrushes are more effective than manual toothbrushes in removing plaque and reducing gum problems, both in the short and long term. In the light of these studies, the routine use of electric toothbrushes has become widespread. Therefore, a rechargeable toothbrush can be recommended to individuals with gingival recession, inadequate hand manipulation, and damage to tooth enamel. If it is pressed too hard while brushing, the toothbrush will not work thanks to the pressure sensor. Therefore, further progression of existing enamel destruction or gingival recession is prevented.
